I singly failed over Christmas on the blog. I had a great time and ate too much and the answer to the question of whether Christmas is just a big roast is a definite yes. We had 17 on Christmas day, not quite the 20 or even 33 that was the maximum that could have turned up, but on reflection I actually think scaling up the food wouldn’t have been that much more work. Although where we would have sat people and the volume of washing up, as well as cutlery might have been more challenging questions. So with Christmas over (dinner for 14, then lunch for 17, lunch for 14, and a fondue and hot stone for new year for 6). I thought now was the time to move on.
